Default 640 Rwhp, 640 Rwtq

How does 640 / 640 sound at the rear wheels, sounds pretty good to me. My 99 Z28 just made that at Macedo Motorsports, Florida's forced induction authority. Stock bottom end, Macedo heads and cam, FMIC, 7 PSI STS, 50 shot Nitrex system, and incredible M2 tunning and install, with many custom install tricks done. Can't wait to run it.

Have not run it yet at the track, will be doing it soon. We put the 50 shot to get the car out of the hole, with the 6 speed could not build any boost at the line and I was pulling 2.3-2.5 sixty foots, when the car would normally pull 1.80s all day on DRs. I ran it this summer in 95 degree weather with 200% humidty, best was a 12.16 @ 121mph, bad et due to the launch, I was leaving the line at 4500-5000 rpm, car would bog terrible then go. Car was awesome on the street, I would run low 11 second cars and hang with them and beat a few, but that was off the roll. It was either a little shot of nitrous, 2 step, or automatic for drag performance. I went with the nirtous. This car is a toy for me, If the motor doesn't hold I'll have Macedo build me a mean low compression stroker.

fuelman, that's some amazing numbers even with the NOS!

What turbo are you using, the T67 upgrade or something else? What A/R did you wind up with? I'm wondering because I'm doing research to spec out a rear mount myself.

Congrats again on the great results!

The silver Formy has still got ya . Just kidding, those are some good # for a stock bottom end. I heard you`ve got the other car flying also, haven`t seen you at the track lately.

I have the GT67 with ceramic fins, if I did it again I would spend the extra money for the roller bearing turbo, I hear it spools much faster, costs more but I think it would be worth it. A/R was 12.0 - 12.5 that was at 640/640, Macedo backed it down a bit to get 11.5ish, dropped the max power to 633, but he feels it is a bit safer. Upgrade fuel system, not sure exactly what or which one, but he was able to add more fuel for the small shot. It is making right at 550 Rwhp on boost alone. Caveman, I need more time, hoping to get out to Bithlo more with cool weather coming, went 141 mph in the GTS at Bradenton, had some traction problems ET was only 10.30-10.40 that day. Are you in the 9 second club already???

Actually running the wrong heads and cam for a Turbo, but since an STS turbo is backwards maybe the normal rules don't apply. Cam is the TR 562/562 - 112. Heads are custom Macedo heads, but when we put them on I had no plans for FI, so they were based off the 5.3 heads compression is up also, really comes down to the tunning. The car rips, I'll should keep a diary on how long the motor holds togther.
