truck turbo kit
truck turbo kit i did a search and some one did a post about 5.3 truck turbo kits and there was no follow up. is some body going to make a kit?
if so who?
are there any kits already?
how do i begin to find who would make something like this?

Re: truck turbo kit I seriously doubt there will be a truck turbo kit. I did a search on the web looking for some turbo stuff and found a company that was making on for a 2000 silverado but didnt save the link.
Are you wanting to make a one off? Are you wanting a manufacturer to start to make a kit? Basically there is a few companys who produce multiple kits
*Turbo tech
*Cartech
*TDS
*and a few others but forget
What you need to do if you want a company to make you one and manufacture you need to find alot of people who will buy it and tell them why they need to make.
If you are going to make your own i would find a good reputable race shop who has made turbo systems and will not be affraid to make you one and give you some advice along the way.

Re: truck turbo kit Aerocharger made a prototype, but has no plans for production. If enough interest was shown they might make and sell the kit. I've tried to get a hold of them several times on the phone,585-345-0055, but always get an anwering machine.

Re: truck turbo kit I think the Rob Raymer kit would work with som small changes. Truck heads fit ls1 so why not? The cross over pipe is a easy part to change, and the intercoller should fit behind the grill.
