Really up to you. I've read that most s/c'd ls1s will be 400-450rwhp all day long. Also depends on whether you want the power all the time or don't mind worrying if your bottle is full or not. Only downside to a s/c I could think of (correct me if I'm wrong) would be problems with traction off the line. Just some thoughts...

I think the biggest difference is $$$. Although doing nitrous right will cost you a few bucks too.

2Nasty, just continue reading the threads in this forum, you'll be able to find plenty of first hand experience with both.

Go with a turbo or SC if you have the money. Then you don't have to worry about bottle pressure and if the bottle is full. FI is always there when you want it.

I agree with JET, but keep reading the FI section!!! LS1tech is the best mod you can do to your car.

What are your goals? Street driven? What transmission? Mind low gas milage? Want to stay stock displacement? Mind putting money towards going forged?

FI isn't cheap, but as you said, money wasn't a big deal.. If you're going to do it, do it right.

Get a turbo setup. Transmission is a tough call. At the track, I think you're more prone to break crap with a 6-speed. Rearends, clutches, small things, etc... Plus an automatic is more consistant when you have that much power..

Plus a turbo great for the street/strip combo

regardless of what power adder you use, the suspension will need to be modded to keep up. A stock suspension with any power adder is not going to get great traction.

Then I'm confused...why are you asking about traction? Maybe a turbo is what you should look at. The inherent lag could help traction...if that's what you mean.
