Default power loss after I sprayed with blower

I staged the car and took off. I was at the top of 2nd gear and hit the 25 dry shot and the car seemed to bogg down , kind of like hitting the rev limiter and now when I am up at about 4500-6000 rpms it starts to loose power.This it the range where I really start making boost.Can any one tell me what I might have torn up. <img border="0" alt="[kaboom]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bomb.gif" />

need alot more info, but if you broke something i would think a piston would be the first to go.

what kind of blower, how much boost? dry shot(really? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> ), stock botom end? what size injectors? what kind of fuel enrichment came with the blower? stock fuel pump? using atap? where did you inject the 25shot? tell us eveything but i bet you went lean and broke a piston.

What was your fuel pressure during the run? Fuel system?

I am using a vortech 7# no after cooler and am using the injectors that came with the kit aswell as fuel pump that came with it T-Rex I did not look at the fuel presure.I ported the NOS before the mass airflow meter just after the air filter.

How did the car run afterwards? Hopefully you didn't lean it out and break something.

Hey Tom thanks for the reply.It is me Charles from Korea but I am not in Korea now I am in the middle East It is funny where your job can take you.Any way the car runs fine until I start getting up in the revs 4500-6000 some times It wont rev out to 5500.It is like I hitting the rev limiter with a loss of power. <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Hey Charles! It seems like you can always find a drag strip no matter what country your in <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

If the car's power starts to fall off but doesn't totally cut out the first, easiest and least expensive thing that I would look for is a clogged/broken cat. The exhaust temp could have got hot enough to damage the brick inside the converter so it's really restricting flow as you build boost. If power cuts out like hitting the rev-limiter that would seem to be something electrical and I couldn't see how that would relate to your trip down the track. Mechanical engine damage should be seem throughout the RPM range.

If the car runs smooth in the low RPMs one of both cats may be the problem.

When the frequency goes too high for the ECM to see, it feels just like a rev limiter. I had the same problem that I traced to a six foot MAF extension harness. I replaced it with a 3' and moved the MAF, and it was fine.

Hey Tom I have no cats on the car.White 2k2 I have no extention harness for the maf.How can I get a maf freq reading.Tom when are you going to take that Red Rock Ship to the strip and show some times.I look forward to seeing them.
