Yeah sounds good, where did you get your track #s that are on the side of your windshield? I like that, I cant stand when they use that white shoe polish crap and put it on my t tops.

What kinda power gains did you see with the stage 2 heads? Right now I could get stage 3 heads for a good deal but have heard that large valves and ported heads dont really yield as much of a power increase on FI as NA.

They are a steal so I need to know, there was just a topic on this board about this and that seemed to be the verdict.

Man your car is built, I have only seen a handful as built, Harlans for one. And if you go to afterthoughts auto from the sponsor list on the right. Go to customer cars, on the bottom right there is a wicked LS1 TA.

422ci, ATI D-1SC and basically everything else you can imagine!

I wil have the car finishing getting tuned on monday. I will make over 600 from the looks of it so far. I made 430 last year with 7 psi P-1 and stock motor. Now with the built motor and 12 psi I will be up there. I went with a stage 2 head but change the valve job and the exhaust ports. If you want some info call Dave at Cartek 908-654-9993. The stage 3 heads would have been good if I went with the more cubes but im stock 346 cubic inches, however strengthened to handle about 18 psi. that mean f1, fast, and 114 oct. Im not ready for that yet. We ran into a mass air problem but we fixed that so I should be able to get alot of air through the stock mass air.Im hopeing to get the car dialed in for the ls1tech shootouts next year.

What had to be done to the block to handle 12 boost? Other then the normal, forged crank, billet rods, forged pistons. It's not an iron block is it?

The reason I ask is I'm running an 383 stroker with forged crank, billet rods, forged pistons, upgraded header studs and gaskets, should be about 9.3/4:1. I would love to up the boost above 10, but I want to make sure the engine can handle it. I'm sure I would need to upgrade my injectors to 50#, from 42.

Thanks, Hope you get some good numbers/times.
Jay

I am still running the aluminium block however I did cartek main caps, and head studs. I have a conetic gasket also. there are alot of guys like Mike(black ls1 t/a) that are running 10 psi on stock motor and heads. Im also running 100 oct so that I can run a little more timing.
