Will these Delphi 50# injectors work?
http://www.racetronix.com/Racetronix...ctor_Sale.html
Do the 50# Injectors here require anything special? Just plug them in and go? (other than tuning of course)
How should I compare the 50# vs the 42.5# Lucas 009's shown here?
12 Ohm 50# vs. 16 Ohm 42# ?
Pintle vs. Disc?
Thx!

i am hope someone will clarify this, can you run the 50's with your stock computer? because they will actualy be at 58lb injector at the higher fuel presure?
those 42's right below the 50's will be right around 50 on an ls1, can we run the really big one's or is the 42@43.5psi(49@58psi) our limit? i would sure like to run a set of those 50's(58's)

I had the msd/holley 50#...they may be made by delphi....were ok on the stock computer but for me, were much harder to tune than the 42#. Of course using the stock o2s to tune part throttle AND wot was probably the real problem

Re: Will these Delphi 50# injectors work?
There are quite a few people running the 50 lb/hr injectors.
The important thing for the stock computer is that they are high-Z (also called high impedance) injectors.
Low-Z (low impedance) injectors need a driver box because they require a more juice to open, but not to stay open...so the stock computer can't supply the voltage to open them.

just to be clear, i can run 50@43.5psi injectors? even though they will be more like 58lb with our fuel systems? thats great if that is true, i have 41@58psi and the just to 50'@58psi may not cover me for long, if i can go to 58@58psi i think i would be set for good.

Yes, you can run the 50 lb/hr @ 58 psi injectors.
Just make sure that you confirm that the injectors that you are buying are high impedance. I think that Delphi makes some 55# injectors that are low impedance...you want the 50# Delphi high impedance injectors (I believe that MSD makes 50# high impedance injectors as well).
You will be fine!

I did the 50# but I have the duel intank pump running 64 psi on single, once the second kicks Im around 68 psi, the tune is a little off, Its running little rich.

Thx Guys!
I ordered the Delphi 50# today from PTE. High Impedance, Flow matched. They were $499 per set of 8.
Harry @ PTE said they were more linear and easier to tune than the Lucas 42.5# 009's. He also doesn't like the Ford SVO's for some reason, but I wasn't able to pin down why, FWIW.
