Default 6 psi, do I need an aftermarket pump?

I've got a turbo tech kit with a T-66 turbo. I bought the kit used and it came with a "mystery" inline pump. I only plan to run 6 psi of boost. Should I use the mystery pump or keep the stock fuel pump? I have 36 lb. lucas injectors.

Thanks.

Why not run the in-line with the stock pump in? I'd worry more about the injectors. I would find out more specs on that in-line tho.

Trust me... DEFINITELY do not skimp on the fuel... just go to jd's performance and get a GSS340 intank pump and wire it in via a relay so it gets max voltage.

When you find out you don't have enough fuel... it will be too late.

What's your fuel pressure? Can you get to a Wideband O2?

I haven't installed the kit yet. So right now my fuel pressure is right at 60 psi off the rail. Yes, I have access to a wideband dynojet. I'm kinda nervous about using an unknown inline. And I'm nervous about not using an aftermarket unit at all. I'd rather not put it on the dyno and find out that I can't give it the fuel it needs.

I am also under the impression that an inline pump will shorten the life of the stock intank unit. And when the intank unit dies the inline doesn't function properly and you lose fuel. Is this right?

The pump you have is an HKS inline pump, think ive seen it in Jegs or summit, You could find more info on it there, should have a picture in the catalog to.

I have this same pump currently inline with my walbro 340 intake.
when i was at stock engine and 5psi i used that inline with my stock intake.

It would be a good idea to use that inline. you should be fine with those pumps using 6psi boost.
Get a Fuel pressure gauge just to make sure.

Smokinhawk: Did you install the inline for reassurance or was it necessary? I would think that bigass walbro would do the job. I've heard that inline's are sort of a joke because when it is all said and done, they only flow half as much as they advertise? Plus they are expensive as hell. Couldn't you just install two walbro 340 INTANK'S
