I'm seeing FI'd C5's supporting 550-625rwhp with SVO 42#'s and stock fuel pumps. Not that I'd recc or do this myself. I have an LPE Walbro 340 otw.

I've seen F-Bodies run intro trouble from 525rwhp+ on their pumps.

Is there a difference? What is the difference? I know there is a secondary fuel tank jet pump, but that shouldn't affect the main pump flow #'s.

spot some links to support your claim though, im having a hard time stomaching it..

is the 625 on a stock shortblock? pump gas too?

Ya, I know the C5 SC #'s aren't as popular here. I'm going to be doing a setup myself to test here shortly. Am aiming for 550rwhp, possibly more if I feel 550rwhp is safe for the street and I still feel the need to pulley up.

Some have burnt up running less than 42# injectors and some have had the stock pump not keep up, otherwise the bottom ends are holding for now. Time will tell. All stock bottom ends 525-650rwhp:

Has MMS done anymore F-body cars.. I would like to know what they are dyno'ing secondary to the different driveline..

The MMS Dynos do seem a bit higher than average. Not sure. I'd like to know more about the F-body Pump and driveline vs. the C5. Traditionally the F-Body had less M6 drivetain loss than we did. MMS does do LS1Edit tuning tho. There are other dynos above too.

You might be able to try some search functions at their online dyno archives.

Heya. I'm in Boca.
Broke another TQ Tube. Entire drivetrain is down on the ground right now. Putting in an upgraded clutch and 3.90's while we replace the TQ Tube.

My Vortech V2-SQ is here ready for Install, but not sure when I'll get to it. If I'm real lucky I'll have the car back Sun night. Break in the clutch and 3.90s during the week and bring it back in for the SC install around Fri 1/3/03.
All this stuff takes time! Gotta pin the crank, etc. Am having to relocate my ABS due to a clearance issue. Hoping it works out smoothly. Gotta do the fuel pump too!!
