4" diameter ATI pulley ?
I was told I will only see about 5 psi from it though, whats the next size down from there, and what is that one rated at, boost wise...
Thanks,
Bos

I ordered the 8psi tuner kit through Speed Inc. I'm wondering if they sent the wrong pully, are you supposed to get the 4.10 pully with the 8psi kit?
I thought the 8psi pully was like 3.xx??

I've seen the 4.10" and 3.20".
I went to the 3.20" because I thought I had a 3.60", since I supposedly had a 7 or 8 PSI Tuner kit. When I took the pulley off, 4.10 was stamped on the pulley. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> I don't know WHY they put the stamp on the unseen side of the pulley.
Anyway, I decided to try it and BAM!, I was at 12 PSI! A near instantaneous 8 PSI (I had a SY3500). There was MUCH detonation.
I hurriedly bought some MAC headers to bring down the boost (now at 9.5 to 10 PSI). I STILL had to supplement my 93 octane with some TORCO Race Fuel Additive or mix some 100 octane in, if I wanted to race pass after pass. It was fine for driving everyday if I only did a streetlight to streetlight race or a quick run thru 1st and maybe halfway thru 2nd. But, if I ran it past 100 MPH, I got detonation in the higher RPMs unless I did the TORCO thing or mixed in the 100 Octane.
In retrospect, I believe the 3.60" pulley would have been ideal without headers and the 3.40" with headers (shooting for around 7 or 8 PSI of boost). I believe 7 or 8 PSI is the max any of us with a stock internals motor should run. That's MY personal opinion.
