I gave up and sold the t56 and purchased a th400, it's a bit less streetable, but my car will be about 1 sec faster in the 1/4 and I won't have to pull the tranny once a month due to some shitty clutch/slave.
what kind of boost do you lose between shifts?
that will give you some basic info on my setup. BTW im going with 6 speed, 3 42 gears in 12 bolt.
i know auto's are faster but i would like to see how far i can take a t56 (whether it ends up proshifted or not)
although i am fighting a hydrolic problem right now my self

I know it aint a LS1 btu same principle. I dont think he would gain much more then a tenth or 2 with a auto. GL

guys shift, girls put the car in drive.
Shifting puts you at one with the car, on the street there is nothing better then having the perfect gear for a particular section of road.
Sure you’re a second faster at the track. oooo I put the car in drive and hold the pedal down. Guess what my girlfriend can get in your car at the track and run the same number as you. Lets see her try to shift the thing like it’s a dirt bike to run a good number.
OK just bustin *****......
Bottom line - get a auto if your going to drag all the time, get a 6 if you going to drive all the time.
Also unless your running 9's or better; drag racing is boring with an auto. Shifting gives you something to do for 10 seconds......... watch the tack, jam some gears at just the right time, fun, fun, fun. With the auto it’s all in the launch, after that its just like driving down any other straight road.
At 9's at least your concentrating on staying off the back bumper on launch, and not braking the tires loose at a buck and a half.
that are using turbo's?
i know there are alot of nitrous cars with sticks in the singles but just didn't know of any with boost, i am sure there are just don't know who
