sounds good <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
good luck with it,
What injectors and fuel pump combo are you running?
That is interesting they have the silicone tube on the discharge side. How are things for space? What are your overall impressions?
thanks,
Chris

Thanks for the pics, David. It looks tight, but a great kit.
Any words of wisdom for those not yet into the install? Any reason that you're not using heat wrap?
Thanks

Re: LS1M Production Kit #1 arrived today.
i didnt use heat wrap b/c none came with the kit/rob said not necessary
car went on the road today, saw about 7psi, pulls real good <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
maybe next week i'll hook up the boost controller and start adding in more.
install looking back could have gone a lot smoother if the instructions for the kit were finished, but they weren't and i had to figure out/or wait to ask rob about a lot of stuff to get things right.
we also had to try a different set of clamps that were supplied and are trying to work out some clearance issues i have with the welding.

I'm interested because I'm thinking my install should begin this weekend. Please let me know the bigger head-scratchers like install order. The small stuff I can figure out. Thanks.

Re: LS1M Production Kit #1 arrived today.
How much space is there between the intercooler and the front bumper? It looks like there is only about 1" of space! Is there some trimming that is necessary?
Can't wait for the numbers! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: LS1M Production Kit #1 arrived today.
yes im serious.. everything is built for it, but i dont want to over do it too soon so im going up in baby steps.
there is a good bit of room in frontof the intercooler, maybe 4 inches in places, but about 1/2 inch between it and the hood latch support.

Re: LS1M Production Kit #1 arrived today.
settle down my goodness..
i know you will all be dissapointed but my best on regular radials was 2.3 60' and 8.6 at 91.3 mph
6-7# boost and shifting around 5500
trust me it is A LOT faster than that on the street
at about 8# it broke third loose from a roll at about 65mph
probably 50-60hp down from a standard compression engine at this point, but i'm not staying at 8#, going for twice that in the next few weeks.
