Check out this months HOT ROD. I think W2W's Gen3 twin rotrex engine is in there. I just glanced at the article this morning before work, but it looked really similar.

from the pic earlier in the thread it looks like they sit up top, one above each rocker cover! but i dont see why W2W could make a braket to mount them lower down?!?!?!
anyone got any pics???
thanks Chris.
PS. how much do you think a "creat" twin supercharged 402 ls2 would set someone back?????

I saw this unit for the first time today and have the impression
this could be a near optimal set-up for our F-bodies.. No additonal exhaust plumbing, (keep heads, headers, LS6 intake etc...) and fairly compact
- and not noisy (I do care about NOT advertising having a supercharger).
Would be interested to see a kit that is adjustable (either by pulley choice)
or other means (wastegate on output side???) so we can push the limits
on each set-up wrt detonation. I would start at lower pis before going full bore. Since it needs to be run up in rpm it would come into boost relatively
smoothly so the drivetrain may actually hold up, too, instead of the drivetrain
getting a hard kick each time you use it...

Gen 3 non intercooled truck kit for 4.8 5.3 and 6.0
So far tuning on a BONE stock 5.3 has been right around 310 @ the wheels with 8 lbs of boost using a factory air box!

Thanks for the kind words guys.
69firebird, The non intercooled turn key version can be had for right around 4000 the intercooled version which uses a custom A2W cooler with cast tanks will be available right around spring time and will cost about 5000.
Chuntington.
The dual kit as you see it on the motor is $4999.00 as for the boost ready crate I will get back with you on it. We are still firming up the pricing.

no way in hell that dual rotrex setup will fit in a C5. not the way it's set up there.
I LOVE that truck set up. I'm not that familiar with the truck accessories, is everything in teh stock location? Where's the A/C comp? And where's the MAF? I was assuming it would be right after the air box, but you are bypassing air after that so I assume it going to go somewhere else.
Also, where will the A2W cooler sit? In the nose? I have a 01 HD with a stock 6.0 and I'm tired of nitrous.

I don't see the twin kit fitting the hood on the C5 although I am sure we could do something custom that would work.
The truck set up is true bolt on with NO relocating. The inlet attaches right to the factory air box MAF combo.
Here is a top secret foam mock up of the A2W location. It will use custom cast tanks.
You can make out the inlet and how it runs right to the factory box. The kit will also come with a high flow replacement filter.

Warren,
In order to fit that kit on an F-car it would require a lot of work. The blower would not clear the hood and I believe a dry sump would need to be used.
A custom F-car specific application could be made but it would be quite expensive.
