Kurt,
When is the "big dog" Rotrex going to be available? One big enough to feed a 500" BBC and 1500HP? Anytime soon?

No plans for that blower ever!! These blowers are made for dailly driven cars that want power without increased noise. We will have some cars/trucks on Power tour with blowers working that you can check out.

A custom F-car specific application could be made but it would be quite expensive.
What cars was the twin kit designed for? Pro touring custom stuff? I guess what id like to know..any others..what fab work is needed to add this to an F-body. Its a serious question.
Looks awesome

I thought I read in Fastest Street Car that this was something you guys were working on due to the better efficiency of the Rotrex vs typical centrifugal blowers????

I look at this page everyday http://www.w2wpowertrain.com/t-techRotrex-2.aspx they look badass and with any luck we hope to be the ones supplying the intercoolers for these. Kurt do you know if Dan has had a chance to look at all the modeled data we sent in? We did this two ways water to air and air to air. If you note the air to air kills the performance of the water to air.

Thanks, Jim

Jason,
The twin kit was something I did for increased output, and some things just seem better in pairs!
The original car that will get fitted with this is our 72 Nova project car. It will still be tight for hood clearance.
It will also rock in a marine application. The engine is under 450lbs with blowers!!(900+hp)
The late model F-car hoodline is to low for the twin set-up. It will be older cars that will benifit from this.

When are you going to come out with the I-5 setup for the Colorado? Any idea on what that will do for performance?

We are just starting the process now. It will be the middle of 06 before it is released. Should have dyno info in the begining of the year.

Looked through that power point, very very well put together, Id imangine you guys have made some sales off of it

these look like good kits, what is the approx price for the truck kits?
are you going to be releasing the kits for the 8.1 kit, or was it one off?

The truck kit retails at 4400. The 8.1 dually was a dual fuel hydrogen/gas powered one off deal, we added the boost only when running on hydrogen to replace missing hp. The brackets are billet one off parts, it is not on the schedule for a kit.
I will tell the guy(Brad Shantry) that made the power point presentation you liked it, he did a great job.

In order to run the twin kit you have two options.

A single plane carb style intake with an elbow or you can use an injected manifold spun around so the throttle body faces the firewall. The latter is the combination that will be used in our project Nova.

I saw the W2W trucks on the 2005 Power Tour. I was very impressed! Loved the GTO, and the trucks were bad assed too! The work on their vehicles looked to be very professional. Keep up the good work guys! Good luck with the new products! Hopefully I can make it down to FL for the 06 Tour to see your new stuff!
