Deeper in the 8's with CE
I don't get to drive the car on the street much at all. Not because the car can't but because I can't. Been working out of town most of the year.
Then working in the garage or racing on the weekends. I have a 30th vert also which got a whopping 1,500 miles put on it this year. Most of that was driving it back from GA.
Kurt, I'm surprised as well. Porting that exhaust inlet had to of helped. I think I'm near maxing it out though. Boost would climb up a little when I would lock it up before. This time it stayed flat.
smokin, No big plans for the winter. Probably have W2W check out the motor just to make sure everything is cool. Powder coating, chroming and coating all the hot parts are the only mods planned.
Lrry93, The 4L80E that Rossler built me has a brake in it. That is how I launch the car. Big Stuff 3 controlls the shifts and lockup.
350-Z28, It's a single GTB-88. I would recomend that you don't buy parts that just meets your goal. Because they will either fail or keep you from going faster. Which you will want to do.
Spend the extra money and only buy the parts once.Harlan, Maybe next year.

Todd,
Kilkare or am i just dreaming and there isnt much done to it. YOu have the dream car garage of pontiacs, 2 collector models, and one bad *** race car (half of one at least)

I started out with the Incon kit on the 30th with a stock motor and built 60E tranny. Then bought the 6spd CE and did heads, cam, and bolt-ons. Blew up the 60E in the 30th, so I decided to switch most things between the cars. So I now have a 6spd 30th with 224 cam and bolt-ons. Nice cruiser/show car. The Incon kit was used for a couple years on the CE then sold it to build the current setup.
Smokin, I did port the manifolds. But what I was talking about with Kurt was the turbo exhaust inlet. The turbo has the divider in the middle which was about 3/16 to a 1/4" wide. So I port matched the housing to the flange and sharpened and tapered the divider to a nice point. Making exhaust flow more smoothly.
Bad30th, Stock suspension using all BMR pieces. QA1 shocks. 28x10.5Wx15 tires.
