Anyway to stop the STS oiling of the engine?

Anyway to stop the STS oiling of the engine? The PCV system STS provides seems to work, but makes a fricken mess. Wasn't to bad with only 4-5psi, now at 8psi +/- its blowing oil all over the damn engine and making a mess. Not something I'd want to deal with. Will a AMW Catchcan work where the little filter/baffle is or will it cause to much pressure?
Your oil problem is most likely coming from the oil fill cap. If you look at the cap there is only one tab that holds it into the neck. Just a little crank case pressure and it will pop up (you can pull it up by hand) and spray oil all over the place.
My solution to it was 2 zip ties. Put one ziptie around the bottom of the fill neck and leave it a little loose so you can get the other ziptie through it. Then run the 2nd zip tie aroud the fitting on the oil cap and through the ziptie at the bottom. Holds the oil cap in place and solved my oil spraying issues.

I ditched the sts pcv system all together and went back to what has always worked for me.
that is venting the valve covers to a catch can with a breather on top and a checkvalve in line with the pcv valve itself.

Blackbird, sounds about right. I have been thinking of putting a Catchcan right before the STS breather/vent bullshit, in hopes the oil separates in the can and stops oiling the entire engine bay...bastards.

No STS for me, yet, mines still bottle fed baby! Just tuning and wrenching on Corky (that would be Larrys 35thSS).
