From the first page of the link that I put up a couple post ago. Sounds like the same thing that happened bad happened to him and another friend of mine. Its too bad that this **** goes on. I don't care what you say Kenny doesn't not make these kits, ATI does. The headunit is ATI the bracket is ATI and all hardware is ATI, tuning is done by GWP and the fuel system might be different from the ATI supplied unit but other than that GWP does not make this kit any better unless you get the 8 rib conversion or FMIC option. SO what is kenny getting credit for Black LS1 T/A other than taking peoples money to finance other projects or to pay bills that he owns $$ on? Oh Yeah here is that page....

After hearing about how good GWP's customer service was I decided that I was going to buy their Stage two ATI kit. I ordered the kit on March 7th. Jason told me it would take about two weeks to get the kit. I gave him a 50% deposite up front. In less then five days I sent him the rest of the money. They said the kit should ship on March 27th. Well it never did. Then they said it would go out on March 28th but I never received anything. Once again they said the kit would ship out April 2nd but nothing ever happened. I got fed up and call Jason again. I was being very nice to them and nothing ever got done. Once i told them that I wanted my money back if my kit doesn't get shipped, everything changed. Jason became a complete a$$hole. He said he was going to charge me a 20% restocking fee. Also he asked my why I was calling ATI (in a very hostile voice.) I told him that I wanted to find out the progress on my kit. He said quote " you have know business calling ATI." I was like WTF I am buying a companies product and you are telling me I can't call them? I tols him that him and his company are nothing but middle men. He then asked me if I have ever bought aftermark mail order parts before. I told him yes and he said haven't you ever had a delay in shipping and I told him NO. When a company says they are going to deliver a product by a certain date they should stick to their guns. After $60 in phone calls and being dicked around I finally got my kit on April 6th. I am not using this as a flame but only to make people aware of this company. The only reason I bought from them is because everyone said they were the best. They are FAR from it. They need to keep in mind that THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. That is what Jason and GWP need to learn. They are a very poor excuses for business men.

Please no name calling.

If the poster paid in full and has waited 3 months w/o tracking numbers I would be concerned too. It is after all $6500.

And they are not sponsors here.

Does Jason still work there?

I've been leaving this thread open because the poster has been pretty reasonable.

I think I have two friends who have gotten ATI D1's in the last three months and I don't think they waited more than 4 weeks from the point of paying in full but I will ask both of them.

Yeah I am pissed, very pissed.

Kenny had over a week to make sure it go there. He had plenty of time to make sure funds were available and went thru. Even if there was actual legdit to his excuse, he waited to last minute.

I called the credit card company and it is in their hands now. If Kenny wants his money ill get that system. The simple fact remains Kenny has been giving me the run around for months now. I question if I am actually going to get the system. Calling the credit card company actually insures that I will get it back or the money. I have held off from contacting the authorities, for now.

Blackls1TA: I dont even want to hear it from you. I was told by Kenny that he was working on a plan so you could purchse that 422 from him. If I did not get all my money upfront I would make you wait too.(That is what I was told by Kenny so I do not know this for a fact.) You simply defend this man when he has infact lied to me and taken my money. Are you his PR rep? I am using this board to spread information about this man.
Information in my case that is true. After this I am no longer going to respond.

The PCM did come in, thank god. No word on its condition, as I have not gone to open the box(grandmothers house). Ill post what I know ASAP.

Black LS1 T/A, you're the biggest most pathetic excuse I've ever seen for a shop cheerleader. You make it sound like this guy is some sort of saint, and that he's the only one that can make a car fast. I'm SURE he's just doing all this out of the goodness of his heart right? Give me a break. The guy drops $6500 and is promised a delivery date, and over 2 months later still hasn't received the product. "Oh it takes time to do it right" blah blah blah, what a bunch of ****. This is a kit that he offers and if he says it should ship out by a certain date, make damn sure it gets ships out, bottom line! If it's going to take 3 months instead of 3 weeks, then tell the guy up front it's going to. I don't want to hear, oh the Christmas holidays this, the weather that, horseshit! Lies lies and more lies. If YOU want to be up this guy's ***, that's fine, but don't expect someone that was lied to continously (and actually has a backbone to stand up for himself) to just bend over and take it up the ***. By the way, you waited how long for your stuff? Oh that's right, it takes time to make a good package right? A blown 422 making 526rwhp.

Hammer, you're an even bigger *******. Were you with Kenny when he made up all the lies too?

Ummm, I didn't say Kenny makes the ATI Procharger... he assembles the kit.

YOU order each and every part required to assemble a Stage II or Stage III and tell me how long it takes to get all the parts. You may order a pump, for instance, and have to ride whoever you got it from all day, every day for goodness knows HOW long. Multiply that, and miscellaneous things that can happen, for those parts and it can get dragged out. If you want OTHER than the base kit, EXPECT delays... simple as that... not a hard concept to grasp.

I told Kenny once that he should forward each part to a guy as he got them, to keep these guys satisfied, but he is concerned they will try to make partial installs and hurt their car becuase certain pieces are not in place. But, I see he is being shoe-horned into breaking that policy.

BTW... the shop doesn't make $6500. ATI, the pump manuvacturer, the company t hat mde the injectors, the misc parts... they make most of that. If this kid paid $6500, he must have ordered more than a Stage II kit. Who KNOWS what else he had coming with opportunities for delay.

I wouldn't be so extreme with my argument if some of you weren't so extreme with yours. You see NO credibility that these things happen.

If I spent $6500 with a company and was LIED to and did not have phone calls returned I WOULD BE REALLY PISSED. This guy has more patience than I ever would have had. Hope the credit card company gets his money back and Master Card takes merchant rights away from GWP.

I fully understand that it takes time to piece together a kit, especially when you have to get the products together from different vendors. That's NOT the issue at hand here. Is this the first time Kenny put together one of these kits? Nope. He knows that it takes time to put them together, so why does he promise delivery dates that he can't make? It's not the guy's fault that Kenny can't make the delivery dates. This brings us to the REAL issue here: HE LIED. The product never even shipped! Why are you not addressing this issue? You rant and rave about it taking time, etc etc, but you haven't once addressed the issue of the guy being lied to. The **** never shipped, and all these stories were total bs. THAT's the problem here.

I know the shop didn't "make" $6500, I never said that. BUT, that doesn't change the fact that this guy SPENT $6500. If putting together this kit isn't cost effective, don't friggin do it! He makes some money off the kit (which he's supposed to, he's a business man) but that's not the point. The LIES are the point. Again, you haven't addressed that issue once, nor will you because you don't have a leg to stand on.

This isn't the first time I've seen threads concerning late shipments, lies, etc etc coming from this shop. When we're ready to put our ATI in, I KNOW where it WON'T be coming from.

I'd be pissed too if I were this guy. Whether or not there were good reasons for the delay, the kit was promised at a certain date and wasn't delivered. Add to that all the various explanations (excuses maybe?) that seem far-fetched, and the lack of callbacks...yeah I'd be pissed.

Hey everyone.

Thanks for the support, it makes a difference.

I took the weekend off to get away from this mess.

Don't waste your time with BlackLS1TA, its not worth the fight. When you have the arrangment that he does with GWP, it justifies his opinion.

Well ATI called and the funds have been transfered. The blower system should be on my doorstep Tues. So we have a pump, controller, ATI kit soon and PCM.

I need help from the members one last time. I need you to list out everything that came with your GWP kit. From what I know I am missing the following:

42lb injectors
Fuel lines
Fans
Instructions
some sort of pressure release valve.

Sincerely
Badz2801
