Default holly smokes, got 9/10ths with a 35shot!

this is in a truck with a whipple, times are measured with a gtech(the new style) i am very impresed with what this little 35 shot is giving me.

6psi no nos-- 1.82 60', 4.12 0-60, 8.11 1/8th, 12.84 1/4

6psi 35shot-- 1.81 60', 3.72 0-60, 7.88 1/8, 11.94 1/4

6psi 35shot-- 1.79 60', 3.67 0-60, 7.82 1/8, 12.35 1/4

that last run the bottle presure was about 100psi less than the 2nd run and the whipple "malfunction indicator light" went off and was pulling boost right at the end. these runs are with a 5000+ lb truck with a 200lb pasenger in 4hi on a stock 6.0 longblock. i think it's days may be limited

anyone else think that is a crazy gain for a 35shot? it is a non intercooled set up.

ok, 9/10ths did seem prty nuts to me too so i really studyied the gtech logs and it looks like that 11sec run isn't right. i let off earliy because of a trouble light and i think it posted the time of when i let off.

so it looks more like a lost 5/10ths with a 35shot, thats more than i would have hoped for.

5/10ths sounds about right . . . you should be able to see 150% of your shot when it's on an FI motor . . . which would put you about 52rwhp, which would be about 5/10ths.

I agree with DV8. The nos system acts as an intercooler.

Now that the temps in miami are aproaching the 90's again. Iam thinking of using a 25 shot of nos or maybe use the alky/water injection!!!!!!!

There is nothing better than cold compressed air!!!!

Havent you ever noticed that your car runs and feels allot more powerful when it is really cold outside. I love it. You can wake up atleast 50hp with colder intake air.

That plus the shot of nos and you probably unleashed a COOL 85hp.

At what RPM did you stop and start spraying?

Thats your call. I wouldnt spray more than 25 if I had the guts to even doit. But again Iam boosting #9.

why dont you monitor the engine with ATAP while you spray and make a decision based on what your logs turn up.
