PULLEY PROBLEM
BOLT. CAME LOOSE AGAIN EVEN LOCK TIGHT ON BOLT.
RUNNING 3.0 PULLEY ON DRIVE. HAS ANY BODY HAD THIS PROBLEM HOW DID YOU FIX IT. IS THERE A AFTER MARKET TORQUE CONVERTER AND PULLEY SETUP
THAT MIGHT WORK.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPERICATED.
Do you mean the crank pulley... the pulley is bolted to the crank... not a "torque convert".
Read my post here:
ATI Procharger crank bolt cutting procedure
https://ls1tech.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ulti...=000108#000002
I also brought it to the top since I see some other ATI installs are going on, and someone may have this issue if they go above 450 RWHP and close to the same torque. At the very least, you guys doing the install, make sure the pins are in the best position and use Red Loctite or equivalent liberally on the bolt threads. Take it all the way to the specs the ATI procedure recommends... no fudging! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
For the ultimate, you could always key the crank.
