they flow better then the 5.7 ls1 heads due to the simmilar port design as the ls6 heads
Several people (including my self) are running well over 500rwhp/500rwt on the stock T-56.
Harlan is running over 700 on his, but i think he beefed his up.

The LS1 is all aluminium, including the heads but you probably know that already. Yes you can use the later heads from the 6.0 truck engine which are also aluminium. The 6.0 truck block is all iron and so are the earlier 6.0 heads so some people use these combo's for max output. The Ls1 is also fitted into Holdens in Oz and maybe a few cars in SA. What about the Pontiac?
As for your pcm, I doubt it will know 'just whats hit it' but seek advice on the pcm page.
