840hp/770tq
Motor's done finally
Got back from Quest Racingearlier today ( a local engine builder) and it made 840hp/770tq on PUMP gas with a nice safe tune. It made just under 15 psi of boost.
Then we made 925hp/831tq with 100 ocatane unleaded
Thanks go out to Quest Racing and NEDyno for there great work.Nice job.
Here are a coupe of the graphs.Wish I had number from like 2,500 rpm though.I'll put it on the chassis dyno next.I'll know what the drivetrain loss is exactly.I'll get a video up soon.

But it's just an old LT1/LT4 motor with ported LT4 heads/intake and a Vortech T-trim making 14.8 psi of boost.Wish I had some more cash for a Hogan intake and a YS-trim and I would probably be over 1000hp.
It does have the LS1 coil pack setup on it though.Probable why it makes so much power. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I still need to get some pics of the new motor up on my site though.

I am building a 348ci YS trim combo and have been wondering what I might be able to do on 100 or 104 unleaded... I will have it pulleyed for 20 lbs of boost.
