im looking for the best turbo kit out there. I need everything from hot parts to the turbo and intercooler all plumbing and electronics. Money is not an issue i will save for what is the best (may be tough). Well im looking to go with about 900+ rwhp. which kit is up to the task? Im thinking about the ls1 speed kit it looks like it is pretty stout. Also what type of bottom end/block should i look into with a set-up like this. Anything you guys think let me know im just starting to read up on this turbo stuff for the f-bodies since my car used to be a nitrous car. Finally decided to step up with the big boys
Thanks in advance,
Joe

There is no best kit out there, but there are several guys out there making 800 or so rwhp. LS1 speed kit is one of them, TTi street kit is another, neither of these keep the AC. If you are looking to make that much power, I don't think keeping the AC is an option, nor should it really need be. Sure there are a few exceptions out there, but I doubt you care about keeping it. Do a search also, you'll come up with wonders, this question has been asked plenty of times.

You need tubular headers and a kit that can fit at least a 76GTS though I think only an 88 trim will do... no remote-mounting, front mount only, and you got three choices: TTi race kit, PTS LS1 kit, or stay tuned for High Flow.
However, for 900 rwhp and up, I'd take my car to a speed shop to have it all custom made.
Search for these three kits... anything you don't find, come back and ask.

I think to clear up some of the confusino up above,
the SpeedInc kit, will do it
The TTi street kit will not do 800, it does keep AC
THe TTi race kit will do it, however SpeedInc is using these hot parts in their kit
THe HiFlo kit should do it, keeps all accessories (say might as it is unproven)
the PTK kit will do it, if you can afford it
A Stenod custom kit will do it, again if you can afford it
hope this helps

thanks guys. I was thinking of going custom however money would be way out of reason i think. Im not shure im not close to having money for anything but i want to start researching so i know everything there is to turbo motors-turbo sytems that way there will be no questioning after i buy my set-up. thanks again i will begin research on the above named systems.
