Default PLEASE READ!!! No Belt Slip with TEST Pulleys.

We just got my new set up in for the F1. I got the 8 rib 8.5 inch crank and 8 rib tensioner from ASP. But the prize of the set up is the blower pulley. I am testing a pulley for reichard racing. If yoiu guys have heard of them they are a big sponser on the NMRA curcuit. There pulleys are gun drilled and billit aluminium. So far in the tune we are seeing no slip and Im spinning the F1 at aboiut 68,000 at max rpm. Ill hopefully have some #'s but julio is away till next week. But the ati pulley was slipping at 4700 rpm so this is definatley a better alternative. go to www.reichardracing.com

check out the pulleys and material, give him a call and let him know you heard it on herre and he will give you a deal.

If you want anymore info let me know. Ill have final #'s and results in the next week. look for them.

The always big question.

Pricing.

I can get the 8 rib crank, blower pulley and belt from ASP for $350 (already got an 8 rib idler from Camarogod if anybody is wondering)

This guy higher or lower or the same for the crank and blower pulley???

$350 is a pretty good price.

Glad you like the pulleys Scott. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I told you they are trick. I don't know anyone that has used them and not liked them. Jimmy has some other products in the pipeline that I think many people will be interested in. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Scott are you coming to the shoot out at MIR this weekend? Check out the link for pics of the pulleys.

Here is a good picture of one of the ultra grip pullies. The NMRA renegade guys use these. They are limited to a serpentine belt by the rules so this was an alternative to the slip I guess.

I second the vote for ReichardRacing pulleys. I've got one for my L'. It's a work of art. With his pulley design, you can say goodbye to ALL belt-slippage. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Great to see someone finally stepped to the plate and came up with a resolution to a very annoying problem. If this was available last year I would still have my D-1.Last season I would have happily spent $1000.00-$1500.00 for a permanent solution.Sounds positive but I would like to see some track abuse to really confirm their performance,Im sure youll be doing that real soon. <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

well the pulley didnt slip, i made 580hp at 5600 rpm and the belt broke. I think it was due to the 4:10 gears in the car, the dyno pull was quick like nitrous. I made 15 psi right off the bat then it went to 17 and the belt broke. Hopefully at 6800 ill see 20 or more. Cartek ordered some 3:55 gears and a better belt and will have it back on the car fri.

im really excited....lol its all coming together.

By the way, the reichard racing pulley is BAD ***

Scott the belt on my D-1 never broke or slipped on the dyno. However 4.10 gears 6000rpm clutch dump, sidestepping the clutch down the track, max 4 passes usually 1-2 belt would destroy itself didnt slip though.Looks like a nice piece(above pic).Good luck

Awsome numbers Scott. <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> 600hp should be no problem with a good belt. Jimmy will be pleased to hear your initial results. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Oh yea, thats through a T400 isn't it?
