True cost of an ATI blower

True cost of an ATI blower For you guy's who have done it or know of someone who has, what is the initial cost of putting an ATI on a stock LS1? I want minimal boost (that will change) and a safe tune. Will I need a fuel system on top of the kit? My shop charges $75/hr for labor. Any info would be great <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Re: True cost of an ATI blower I got the P1SC with everything it included, 2 intercoolers,plenum,hoses,clamps,pulley's etc. I also bought the 42 1/2 injectors,inline 255 fuel pump,plugs,gauge hook up,tuning and the dyno tune with install for $5,800. Then again it all depends on where you go and how much money you spent there before dumping that kinda cash. I got a deal since i have already spent alot of cash.

I'm looking at about $550-$600 for injectors and a pump, and another $550-$600 for dyno tuning. I'm doing the install myself, without the fuel system upgrades, I've put about 20 hours into it so far. I'm sure someone with half a clue what they are doing could finish it in a lot less time. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Of course, it will get more expensive as time goes on, I'll be doing clutch and rear next year (or sooner if i blow them up) and going up to 7#.

Re: True cost of an ATI blower My kit is going on in about 3 weeks. It'll be right at 7K for the F1 blower upgrade, 50lb injectors, computer tuning and 20 hours labor at $68 an hour. I all ready have a bigger fuel pump, but that would add another couple hundred or so. Hope this helps.

Re: True cost of an ATI blower All said and done, I tell people to plan for $6,500 or so for a complete turn-key with proper dyno tuning. Some get it cheaper, some pay more. If you think "7K", you'll not be unpleasantly surprised...

Re: True cost of an ATI blower For what it is going to cost it sounds well worth it. I can live with $7000.00 or under considering what I paid for the car. Thank's... and BTW my car has 20k on it now, so would getting another 30k out of the motor W/blower be a problem?

But if your foot is in it all the time, it probably won't last as long as you want to...
