Honestly if there were a turbo kit that made the same power and cost the same, I would want it instead. I love the BoV pshhhhh.

I second that...They have a much flatter torque curve and way less parasitic loss due to the belt to drive the SC...If I were to go with a SC I would say procharger though...

Let me know when you find one OEM today using a centrifigul.
They are all moving to Lycoms or turbo's, especially in the next few years. Even Ferrari.
VE is much higher, mileage and torque powerband is not even close.

Using your logic we shouldn't use nitrous either. Heck while we're at it we'll have to get rid of that big cam, gonna have to put those cats back in, those heads won't pass emissions, better get rid of that as well. There are lots of things that OEM doesn't do, that doesn't mean there isn't an advantage for us. Don't hate on the centris cause we turn more heads.

I was stating fact. Reality is whether you or I like it, this is what is occuring. They are more efficient and far more reliable.

I have lot friends that have various types of nitrous, centrifiguls, roots, T's and TT and soon the first KB car. We all the first ones to recognize the limitations and recognize the good points of our own cars. There is always something better. I could spend the next day, improving every point of my car.

About 80% of people do not want to attract more attention.

I like to attract attention... And alot of it.

When I floor it while sitting at a light to throw a quick rev to 3k rpm, the turbo spool-down heard through the Loudmouth gets all the attention I could ask for.

Yeah I bought a vette in order to blend in... LOL

The blower whine and exhause note makes people roll up their windows at times. I love that. I love having a car so rowdy that I drive on a daily basis.

The fact that dollar for dollar the procharger makes the best power is also right up my alley.

There is another blower choice. You can buy a custom Vortech YSi kit from SpeedInc. or RMCR. That would set you apart from the crowd. Oh, BTW genius is spelled genius, genius (please no flame, I couldn't resist.)

Honda makes a nice quiet car. You know, so the engine noise doesn't drown out your Elton John CD.

Most of the younger guys want the noise and attention.
I have been there, done that, on over twenty personal builds.
I was once younger as well.

My loudest car had a 13.5/1 Compression 600 cid Hemi, with throttle body/port injected with 5.5" pipes and a .780 lift cam. The car ran on 93/Nitro/race mixer.

Almost all the guys from about the mid thirties to older usually have been there done that and want something quieter.

My current LS car. 427 TT Z06, no mufflers as of yet. We will be putting some on.

Tubular turbo headers, no cats, and no mufflers for me... Sometimes, I seriously think it's too quiet.
