If anyone is interested in building a boost stroker setup... Heres just a list of stuff ive got in case anyone wants to know whats involved.
Custom turbo kit:
-2 TIA 60mm wastegate(I think they are actually 2 38mm ones)
-TIA 50mm bypass valve
-Griffen intercooller
-custom tubular headers and downpipe(coated)
-intercooler tubing,couplers,clamps,misc flanges and fittings
-upgrade to GT55 turbo-good to 1500 HP
(BAD *** new technology turbo-SUPER power!)
-PA k-memeber
-Fuel system:-RC Engineering 75lb injectors
-Aermotive elininator pump
-Aeromotive fuel filter
-Aeromotive regulator
-Hi-flow fuel rails w\fittings
-fittings and braided hose
-new '98 tank..sumped
heres the motor stuff...
New GM 6.0l block(bored\honed\decked\cleaned)
-Callies 4.00” 4340 crank
-Diamond pistons w/rings Ceramic coated
-Lunati Pro-mod rods
-FMS ported oil pump
-ARP main studs
-Rollmaster double timing chain
-FMS custom hydraulic cam
-FMS pushrods
-Melling hyd lifters
-FMS stage 3 heads AFR heads
-Manley 2.100"\1.60" custom valves
-Crane 1.46” dual springs
-Comp titanium retainers
-Comp spring locators
-Cometic head gaskets
-ARP L-19 head studs
-misc gaskets
-New GM lifter guides, cam plate and misc bolts
-assembled\balanced\blueprinted longblock
-75lb injectors
-port match intake to heads
-F.A.S.T. LSX 90mm intake & throttle body
Strange 12 bolt rearend & w/back plate
Upgrade trans syncro, carbon blockers, steel shift fork

sounds sick. why did you use a 98 tank though? i believe it was 00-02 that used the plastic tanks (thus less weight overall). just curious. should be a killer setup. i want pics!

Did the burst panel come in yet? Im assuming it prob wont be till after the holidays that everything is ready to ship...

Id rather have something sturdy and not worry about anything, however Harlans block was aluminum and pushing 1200+ rwhp.

Biggest aluminum stroker that I think you can go with is a 383 or 396, but new stuff is coming out all the time so there might be something else I dont know of.
Actually, come to think of it you can stroke an ls2 motor for 402 cubes...
