about 4500 for system. are you putting it on or someone else. also look into fuel system, rear end, clutch or converter, stickey tires, spark plugs-wires. you can do it cheap and break stuff or spend alot of money and might still break stuff. I am doing everything else before I go turbo, that way it will be less likely to break stuff. I am going to be rebuilding my engine and tranny with a new clutch this winter. you can have about 15 grand into a turbo set up or more, or you can have it for 4500.

are you talking about buying a kit from STS? or fabricating it yourself? Reason I ask is because its not just as simple as buying any turbo and throwing it in the rear of the car.

If you are going to make your own, I hope you have good fabrication skills and access to machines and materials at a good price. Prices add up real quick, I am discovering that out now. I think it would be best ot just save up for the kit yourself, im waiting for the twin turbo kits coming up, by the time they actually do, I should have enough money, atleast for a hot parts setup and do the rest myself, that's about as custom as I will probably be able to do. Goodluck on your setup, it's not as easy as you may think.

it depends on the parts list really. if your decent at welding and fabrication and do it all yourself you can save big. now if you go buy a ball bearing turbo and all stainless burns parts your in some serious amount of $change$.
think bout wat you want down the line and from ther lay it out and then start. if your wise you can probally do it for under 3200. and could see close to if not slightly more than 500rwp.. is that enough who knows?? but that feeling of wow wont last long when you know you can just turn up the boost.

average cost to get an STS kit running is around $5000 with a hopped up fuel system. I don't count driveline mods as you need to do that anytime you make that much power.
