408 poll, help me decide
408 poll, help me decide I can't decide who's 408 to go with for my truck. I'm gonna strap the whipple to it so I'm kinda torn on what heads to use. Any feedback would be great. If you are gonna bash either product, please do it via PM's please. Thanks guys.

i am completely happy with my cmotorsports 408.
heads are a tuff one. i would just stick some stock 6.0 heads on there. the blower is going to be your limiting factor. now if your thinking about that new whipple set up then heads might be worth the extra money.

HPE has no information about 408's on their website and I had no idea they build them, Never heard of LME until right now, i'll email them. I didn't see any 408's on LPE's website, just 6.0 and 427, MTI appears to be way overpriced according to their site, and I don't remember why I didn't look at Thunder.
I did talk to SDPC and Texas speed. Both also seemed ok to me. I'm just looking at the one that i'm told is "the best" and the one with the best price.
I'd post up the prices, but I don't feel right about doing so. I'll just say, there is a HUGE difference between the two.

it seems from what i've seen many motors ,mainly 408's, have came from: futral, LME, and HPE...
it seems those are the "go to" guys...
