Details on the S4 and TM1? I know we discussed the R vs S trim before and I know the mesurments on the S and the R, but what are the S4 and the TM1?

How much more flow compared to the R wheel?

thats very interesting as i was always under the impression that the GTS was the best flowing.

S4 looks to be a new wheel since we haven't matched it with anything else out there on the market from all the other manufactures. Flows awesome indeed. We are taking all the measurements down and measuring the pitch as well. We have built a custom unit with it and it has made some stupid power. The TM1 wheel.........well can't share all the info right now as we are working on a unit to phase out the GT42 in some of our own applications. This unit has GT47 power, but GT42 size and price.


Both wheels will outflow the R-trim wheel by a good margin, and they are larger as well.

Nope, but it is among the top. But what it does have that some others don't is its adequate flow, but also good throttle response. .

Remember we aren't on the garrett bandwagon. We use turbos and wheels from ALL the turbo companies. Their are wheels that flow better out there. Just don't have the marketing and availability that Garrett has. Honeywell is a huge company indeed.....

I should be done sometime in January. I'm sure everyone else is taking a break for the holidays, I'm in no hurry.

The difference between an R-trim and Q-trim wheel are very large. The R-trim will produce ALOT less backpressure since it is larger and also is the ONLY T4 turbine wheel that has a 100 trim.

Is it a universal swap as far as the turbine wheel on my Turbonetics to swap from a Q-trim to an R-trim?
