Be ready to spend over $5000 on that trans though...... i talked to Rossler for quite a while about my choice. I went with a glide with a 1.80 first gear..... easier on a turbo compared to the 2.48 first in a th400.... give him a call.... another plus for the glide is its cheaper to build to hold the same HP as the 400.... less parts to break/fix.

even the fastest supra would be a poopra without one..
My truck will be close to the 11khp and 11ktq output..

There are both class 8 and protrucks in this clip...
http://video.off-road.com/videos/2000l_dsclip.avi
I'll run better u-joints than the last chev over the jump.
I'm building a hybrid street and off road rig.
My front end will be protruck with the rest of the chasis class 8..
While not really within any classes rule book as far as the turbos the performance and safety specs will be adhered to. Just wanted to have the best 4x4 of all my buddies.. 37" tires.. Truetrac tq biasing diffs... Yes it will still be 4x4...
I'll actually have a enclosed normal cab with lexan except for the front..
This is one of CST suspensions show vehicles. Its a prerunner and does'nt have as much suspension travel.. I like the body work.. Suspension is too low.. Those are 35" tires and they do clear.... I just like which brand of fiberglass fenders and bed sides they went with and their exhaust tips.. In front of rear tire..
Nice body work... Too low...... Right look however...

I'll probably build my own trans.... We run transcoolers the size of a accord radiator and external filters... etc... Some of my previous trans have lived long lives even in the dirt, mud and aviating aspects of wheeling..
Even DIY is'nt cheap on transmissions like those.... Even more expensive for the inexperienced..
No matter what trans you go with get a big freeking cooler... None of those cheap copper loop things... A SETRAB .. Especially with a stall converter and turbo HP.

Id expect at least 1300-1500 rwhp on 29psi, on an extremely conservative end.
I made 947 rwhp at 16psi with my 408 and gt55, ****, just imagine almost 2 times as much boost.

G-force T56 will for a while. That is what Dr Roof, Chad and the other big hp vipers are running.
Don't get to excited about psi #'s, those are not accurate references by which to judge a setup. Psi is just a measurement of restriction in the system.

or a GF-2000 will last even longer than the beefed T-56...
Probably even take it like a champ if not beat on purpose or something..
You can also add one of these to a glide for street running..

This next auto may or may not be enough.. They rate it for 1200....

Some people have had issues with that builder..

I suggest you guys monitor backpressure readings with the GT42 and GT47. They are getting pretty elavated and a little higher then I like to see. I figured the GT47 would not have suffered as much, but it doesn't fair much better, though some.

Very curious, seriously considering stepping up to one of your units from my current gt42/76. Currently T6 flange, 1.15ar, spools PLENTY fast.
Will the "gt46" address backpressure issues?
Engine is a 347cid small block Ford.
