Default turbo gauges

so I'm thinking that my best bet would be to go with fuel pressure, boost, and i'm going to get a wideband. My question is, which types of gagues do you guys thing look the best (pewter t/a with black interior) and also which ones are the most accurate? what are you using?

its really all a matter of opinion.Black gauges always compliment a black interior, and you ll need an electronic fuel gauge so no fuel comes in the cabin, but you may wanna try posting this in the appearance section.

those are things youll want to keep an eye on, but remember you also want to moniter EGT (pyrometer) and because of the added motor head, oil temp...i plan on running wideband, eboost 2 (fits in a guage pod), oil temp, boost, egt, and fuel pressure

Where are you going to put all of those gauges? I was going to stick with the 3 gauge pod pillar and be done with it, but i would love to have several different gauges aswell. On a side note, what part of marietta are you from? I grew up in kennesaw, and actually would have been one of the first classes to graduate through KMHS if i hadnt moved to FL.

It monitors your air fuel ratio ALOT more accurately than an a/f gauge and normal oxygen sensors.Do a search on it in the diff sections or on ebay.It makes it so u can keep a close eye on whether or not your running lean.

There is my recomendation for the wideband...

I dont bother with EGT gauges...

I have been know to use probes on standalone EMS systems and datalog EGTs...

Once you go wideband the EGT probe takes a back seat but is'nt useless...

Its nice.

I am probably not going to run their gauge... I'll have a mini ITX motherboard and VGA built into the dash.... I'll just use the EMS software to display things.

There are alot of things you can do.. http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/ice...ult.asp?page=4

I am NOT copying this but running a bigger display and flush mounting it.
http://www.cartft.com/catalog/il/437

For fuel pressure I am going to get a autometer sender and wire it to the EMS and display the pressure on the screen..

Yes..

Attatched is an example of a standalone "dash" screen...

There are different skins and you can change what it displays and the layout..

I always though white gauge in a black interior looked nice. I went with the white face gauge cluster also to match. I have the boost gauge for sale if your interested.

You can set it up for any ECU input... STD or auxillary.

Wishfull thinking on the VVT from a 6.2 graph but its just a PWM operated device so aftermarket control should be easy...

Looking at about $300-$500 for a touch screen depending on size then what ever Mini ITX computer you want to build... IMHO cool as hell and worth it..

I ussually recommend full sweep fuel,boost/vacuum and the Dynojet wideband. Not a fan of digital A/F gauges.Find them hard to read while pushing 650+rwhp down the road.
