I started and rev'd my car last night. I had oil leaks but no smoke. I have a 4an line to a 3an fitting.
I am concerned about the pressure too.....my aftermarket pump will peg the oil pressure.
fwiw I am running a MP T70.

I have a .060 restrictor on my truck. Garrett told me to run between 10-30 psi to the turbo. When I had the engine on the dyno, the .060 would maintain the 10 at idle and went about 40psi at 6000rpm. If I went below .060 my idle pressure was too low. I now have 35,000 miles on the truck, although I have had 3 different turbo's on it for testing I have never failed one from lack of oil.

slohawk, is it consistent, ie when cold or hot? My car does the exact same thing REALLY bad on decel or idle, but ONLY until the car is fully warmed . . . then not a hint of smoke. I don't understand why it stops!

Don,
I didn't have any smoke issues on normal driving, but if I got into it (which would spike oil pressure) then get out of it and hit the brakes hard, it would smoke.
The PTK kit comes with a -4 line. Jose said to restrict it so I put a .59 nitrous pill in the line and I drove it last night. So far the problem is gone, but I haven't really gotten into it yet.
EDIT..ooops sorry. This is on a T4 flanged 76 gts turbo.
Just my experience,
Glenn

I put my nitrous jet at the fitting above the oil filter where it feeds out of the motor from.
I think you have to keep in mind that a T4 flanged 76 or what ever can probably take a smaller jet then a T6 flanged GT 42

Our turbos came with internal restrictors. You can see them just inside the oil inlets. Limit engineering told me this. Can't be the reason unless yours are modified somehow.

It would also depend on what the turbo was made for.My GN had oil pressure of 15lbs at idle and 45 at WOT.This car has 50psi at idle and 70psi at WOT which would flow more oil into the turbo
