anyone in ca to fab twin turbo headers
anyone in ca to fab twin turbo headers Im building a twin turbo lt1 all the specs on the engine are almost identical to big ricks. The turbos im running are twin precision t67. Im looking for someone to fab up headers and all the other plumbing like down pipes intercooler tubing and so in. I live in northern ca and was wondering who does good work at a resonable price in my area or down by LA if needed.

Just curious, what are the smog laws up there?

they are pretty strict. You cant really touch any engine in a 74 and newer vehicle unless it is carb apporved ca air resource board. This setup will be going in a tubbed 72 chevy pickup so no worries i can pretty much do what ever i want.

I talked to Steve and he said that there must have been a misunderstanding -He told me you asked him if he installed turbos and he thought you wanted him to install a kit for you. He only does custom fab work. He said to call him back if you were interested.

im at 3500ft and they require smog maybe above 5000 you dont have to. The county just north of mine there is no smog so i guess it just varys county to county.

do you know what his shop rate is per hour? Have you seen any of his work as far as headers go?
