TTi race kit all the way IMO. It is a proven kit, and has produced 800+ rwhp on several different occasions on several different cars, plus it fits well and positions the turbo nicely.

If your only choices are PTK and Hi Flo, you'd have to choose PTK simply because as of right now it is the only one available. The Hi Flo kits have been reserved and deposits placed for several months now, and nothing has been delivered AFAIK. I'd wait to see how the kit (Hi Flo) performs, and if/when people actually start recieving them.

Mighty Mouse hit 800+ rwhp with a T76, and 900+ with a PT88. There is a car from Speed Inc that hit 800+ with a T76 also. I think it comes with a 80mm, but I could be wrong.

Link here..

A PTK kit will match the TTI kit in performance with the same turbos, and you can keep the A/C. Also the PT88 was a custom piece done by MM. I have a PTK kit as well on my LT1 and its running a PT88 as well. Custom DP , but either kit can be modded to do just about anything if you have the fab skills required for the larger units.

Between PTK and Hi-Flo I would go with the PTK kit. PTK will take some time to get the kit to ya but at least they won't take on 20 kits and make you wait. Plus Jose will help you out on any tech questions you have...

I always liked the TTI race kit. I almost bought one, too.

PTK was the same price or less, offered the same power levels, and allowed me to keep my A/C. The choice for PTK was easy. I'm not knocking the TTi. The TTi is badass... don't know why so many people overlook it as a matter of fact.

No typo. In your first post you said "im not goin for insane power here im lookin high single digits". How much higher than 9hp can you go and be in single digits?

Any of the kits posted will get you there. I lean towards TTi just because its the only one that's proven. I think the others will perform, but they haven't yet.

You should see PTK dyno numbers from a range of different setups within the next few weeks. Maybe some next week even....... (not mine )

possibly because we have no numbers/reviews/times from people running the kit? there are what, 3-4 people on this site running that kit, none of them have had it done for long enough for anything to be proven.

You want a review? A couple of us could give you one right now. I've read them.

3 or 4 people... How many are running the TTI here, 6-9? WHOA PROVEN!!!!

There aren't MASS numbers running front-mounts like there are STS's or SC's, you know

And how long do you want the kit run for it to be proven, years?

I read Nicky's review and picked his brain before I made my choice, he's been running his for quite a while. And there's a SHITload of turbo mustangs running them that I researched and talked to, some of them running the kit for years.

And why must there be times? I'm never gonna post times here... I don't even know if I'll run on the track.
