Default Please post gauge locations

If this is in the wrong location forum, feel free to move it.

I am going turbo and am trying to find somewhere other than the pilar for a couple gauges. I have a convertible so beside the cig. lighter is out unless I move the conv. top switch.

Where does everyone have theirs mounted?

... for T/A's... if I were you, I'd just buy an A pillar mount.

Yah I was responding to DDN's post because only TAs' AC vents can hold gagues.

I have an a-pillar pod and am in the process of making a mount for 2 gauges where the cig lighter and little compartment in front of the shifter were.

Please post pics when you are done.

I could put one where the cig lighter is, but I would like to have fuel pressure and boost pressure gauges.

camaro vents are better, they still work.
6 gauges--clean - e-boost in change holder with
custom plate. Plate made out of cigar box wood and painted with plastic bumper paint. Scanmaster where camaro plaque used to be.
Any questions?

I'd do this...

A-Pillar:
A/F Ratio Gauge
Fuel Pressure Gauge
Boost Gauge (20psi)

Driver's Side A/C Vent:
Oil Pressure Gauge

Here are a few mounts and locations that I have made.

This one is work in progress shot. Uses radio mount and a glove box attatch point, no driling or cutting required

I have something like that for my DSM. The only bad part is that the steering whel covers them alot of the tiem so ill have to sit up farther to get a look at them. In my camaro i have only 2 extra gauges. 1 is mounted on the steering column and the other is where the ashtray used to be. teh boost gauge is in the ashtray and the wide band o2 is on teh steering column. I dont want a gaudy pillar column like all the ricers have. If someone made one that tucked to the side of the A pillar that would be great. Something that u wouldnt see when on teh outside fo the car. Gl amn

The work ok; mostly blocked by the gauges but air still flows through.
