For my 5.3 Avalanche I plan on doing a Procharger. This vehicle will be towing my race car.

YEAH, I agree with the master tuner stated above and would also state that most guys here are running PROCHARGERS, myself included, a D1SC, and I think you need to add ATI do your wish list marketing survey!!!

i had the procharger p1sc and i liked it....pretty easy install...except for my injectors (first time is always the hardest)...i broke the motor (cause of a lot of rain) and went with a d1 and it still runs good....just do the proper maintenance like they said.....i have only had a procharger so i cant speak for the others..

Having driven/installed all 3 types, I can honestly say I liked the centrifugal the best, solely because it was so easy to install. But the Twin Screw was definately the best in terms of performance and drivability, and the sound was just phenomenal. If both were made as kits, with similiar install times, I would be ALL OVER the twin screw.

I won't go so far as saying it's the best since I've only had 1, but I will say my Vortech SQ:
a) is virtually silent (you can only hear it under 800rpm at idle, at WOT you can't hear it at all from the front or inside the car)
b) has never had a belt slip

I honestly think that he should try the KB if he can fit it in there or go with a procharger if he ops out of that...BTW this thread is freaking old!!!

Kenney Bell comes on strong down low and continues to pull strong all the way to the top. And they sound so cool. But I love my ATI, and will always have it, even if I decide to do something else, I will do it on another car, and keep this one like it is.

ATi is a self contained oil unit,
They blow more cfm than the vortechs which means they'll make a lot more power
air to air coolers or option to go with a front mount.
I really wanted an ATI back in the day but they were having major issues back then seems like they have all the flaws worked out now.
My vortech is a nice kit , I got it cause I got a good deal on it.
If there were turbo kits available back then (2003) I would have went that route and skipped the blower all together.

All other things with the blowers being equal, one flowing more than another will not make any difference in power at the same boost levels.
I'm sure the other companies offer intercooling as well.
