I'm t76, was even on the stock motor, my friend has a t76 on his stock motor, another guy I know with a 408 has a t76 on his and yet another guy I know has a t76 on his 408. Thats 4 in las vegas. I have another friend with a 67 on his right now, but he'll probably end up going 76 as well. Almost forgot my friend matt, he has a T70 on his. These are all rearmounted kits, some STS, some custom.

I saw mention of a 408 truck with a t88 on it on STS's website, they had a dyno of it too i believe.

it works prett good, if you are auto with a 3000 stall, it's the perfect turbo, ZERO lag, you will see 1lb before the peddle hits the floor, then boost comes up very fast.

That's a lot of stall on a turbo setup. It might run better with less stall.

Yeah i've thought about that, but there is no going back now....Its a really nice converter on the street (Yank SS3800) so i'll see what happens....Worst case whenever I build my tranny up i'll have it restalled

A midwest 3000 converter goes to 5200 rpms under boost, my vigilante 3000 does the same. I have to see how it drives on the new motor and more boost, but I might need to restall mine lower.

vigs normally run 400-600 higher than advertised.....When the day comes that I have to rebuild the tranny, i'll have to see how much I like the SS3800.....but it certainly will be interesting

well I'm only planning on running 10-12psi at most. I think I should be ok if I stay at this boost level. I know that if I run 16 psi I will need a 76. For now I will be sticking with 10-12 psi. I also wonder what kind of power I will put down..550-600 I hope???
