Default 750RWHP: How long will it last???

my 04 GTO has recently reached almost 750rwhp on pump gas with meth injection. It is my daily driver and i am worried about being plagued with problems and having to fix my car every weekend. Will my car last as a daily driver? i change the oil every 3000 miles use mobil 1 and check fluid levels regularly... im running 14-15psi on the cam and heads in my sig, will this car be reiable, or am i going to blow head gaskets once a month??? any help is greatly appreciated.

Alot depends on how good of a tune you have in it and how well the motor was built.

The tune is the key. Also becareful with the meth kit. One screw up with it and the engine is toast. Also as a daily driver, just don't push the boost. You can run safely 12psi or so with 93 and good tune and forget the meth. You can run also 14-15psi on pump, but timing will need to be trimmed down. With that you will need then to watch the EGT's and the turbos, since running extended WOT passes will start to melt stuff with trimmed timing. Just a few pieces to look at....

Ahh, didn't see the rest of the setup....ignore the turbo part. The rest does still apply.

Or, in some cases, 3 engines are toast before you figure out what's going on. . . Grrr!

You should be fine just as long as you keep an eye on the Meth. kit. Also,I would change the oil every 1500 miles if your on it alot.

750rwhp on meth is a lot to me, especially when it gets hot out again. I'd make passes with race gas and meth.

Hey don't make me throw an allen wrench into your turbo . We already have enough broken turbos here from the rear mount crowd...

Unless I missed something on the GTO board I thought you still weren't getting enough fuel to pull to 6500rpms? I thought you were making 655rwhp?

This is on a built 370 guys.

And I know I said I love my methanol kit, but when I build my motor the Meth will be added as a cooling feature and no longer tuned as hard with the methanol as I am now. Be carefuly like they said and I see no reason why you shouldn't be alright. Hell when I finally bone up and build my 408 I am looking for 750rwhp and then adding spray on top of that...

I think you will be fine!
