its pretty cool here, with no humidity, and bradenton hooks great. There should be a few records dropping tomorrow.

Must be some awsome weather...... he HAS to throw those 29.5W's on and shoot for a 7 before leaves down there.......... [/QUOTE]

I think it could run a seven on DR's.Steve's 60' was almost a tenth slower on the 8.23 than the previous pass.

If they keep trying they'll get a seven on a street legal tire at 3400 lbs.

i think he said it was te 295 m/t radial. the 30" tall one. it seems like the tire choice for the radial racers.

hey guys
Steve went 8.1 @ 174 in the semifinal, going into about a 20-25 mph headwind.
He was cutting great lights all day. Fucken major props to the Ohio Boys those guys are a class act and they were competing with some Big Boys.

That Formula could have went 7's just the way it was if there was no headwind.

Unfortunately Mike Brown's went out first round with a 9.0 but that ain't bad for a street car!!

With a bigger turbo the black Formula has 7's easy but will he have enough for the Wolfe Mustang?? we'll see.

I'm sure they are using the 315/60.

Is this the same event that Steve Grebec died at a few year back. Just reading about that wreck made me think about him. Come to think about it it was at the Spring Break Shootout down there. Does anybody know how the driver of the Mustang is.

315-60's are what the other cars were running...im assuming this should be the norm for the class.
