People with the STS in the 13s
Well...as a FIRST TIMER at the drags...I ran a 13.0 @ 115! That's a GTO w/ nice stereo, sound deadening, and 19" wheels...
And my more experienced friend drove it 12.3/119, spinning through first and second. M6 + heavy car + 19" wheels + slick track = LOUSY 60' times [2.1-2.2].

Yeah, it's all in the driver, but with a basically stock LS1, with fuel upgrades and a tune, pump gas cars are getting into the 11's pretty easily, trapping close to 120, sometimes higher depending on tranny and driver.
sts 13's i think im in the 13's/ high 12's

and this car pulls but not like that one did.
but sometimes muscle cars just seem faster!
I think my car was inthe 14 sec bracket stock.
almost all 98 a4's dyno lower....
ill have to goto the track and see what it does this fall
after I get alky injection.

that and turbo's are very different to launch compared to a NA motor car. They take time to get used to/launch but once the driver learns how then you get good times. I have seen an STS 02 SS run consistent low 13's and very high 12's even with DR's. Turbo's just take some practice
I went to the track for the first time with my STS, and ran low 13's. I turned down the boost to 6 psi, retuned, and added a 2 step, and ran 12.2 all night long. It does take some getting used to.

I never got a good 60' in my life, so I gave up after going through many clutches and have gone auto. Will find out in about a month how much faster the car is.
