Default Turbo W/N2O

Anyone doing this on here? I've heard of using the juice to eliminate turbo lag but what about just adding it for whenever you want it? I just wanted to know any options. I am getting a turbo setup but I love my TNT kit and it's a shame for it to just sit there.

As long as your motor can handle the HP and you have PLENTY of fuel it's good. The N2O charge (pressure drop) actually cools the incoming air. I've seen guys get alomst double what the N2O kit is rated for with turbos. Be careful though, you only need to detonate or go lean once and that motor is gone.

I don't remember hearing about anyone on here using N2O with a turbo but I'm sure there is someone.

not heard anything about it here! but a lot of the import guys where using say a 50shot kicking in at low rpm (say 3K) to help spool the turbo and cool the intake!

and don't forget N2O evapourates at somehting like -40degrees C (sorry i can;t convert) and very 10degrees C you drop you gain 3% in power!!!!

The fastest LSX setup to date runs nitrous with a twin turbo. I don't really know much beyond that but I don't think nitrous combined with any other power adder is legal in NHRA or IHRA.

I used to run a 75 dryshot in my old RX-7 13BTT.The N2O charge (pressure drop) actually cools the incoming air, thus producing more horse power and torque. It also helped me eliminate the turbo lag from the big turbo(t76) I was using.

Ive used it with both of my turbo setups, i seen nearly double the horsepower at the wheels as the jets were rated for> I also use it to get the turbos wound up off the trans brake it allows you to run a tight stall but still get them wound up. If you have the fuel system and motor go for it, ill never get rid of mine.

Get your turbo(s) on and completely tuned.

Then, start off small, like a 50shot, and watch the AFRs closely. Check all 8 plugs frequently while tuning.

I am at the beginning of playing with a 50shot on my blown 383. I waited until the basic tune was spot on. So far, so good. I'm targeting 11.4:1 as a safe starting point, richer than my normal 12:1 or 12.2:1.

I am only planing on using 50 or 75 shot total as I am going to be hitting 900+hp anyway. I would just like to have it in and use it every now and then. I plan on a 8.5:1 cr and the motor is should handle it. Fuel? Well might need bigger injectors. Using the Motron 60#high impedence ones now with twin bosch pumps.
