I went for a pair of CNC'd Edelbrock heads. Just need to get my finger out and build the damn thing.

Exhaust flow seems to be very good in relation to Inlet, which is one of the reasons I chose them, and I'm still on a stock bore size, as opposed to a larger bore. Some people advised the AFR225's wouldnt perform as well on a small bore engine. Add to that, I didnt think the exhaust port flow on a 225 where that much greater than a 205, in comparison to the inlet flow differences.

Who knows how me Edelbrocks will work in reality though. Well enough I think
And if they dont, they look nice anyway.

The only mention of deck thickness on the Dart heads, is where they said the deck is as thick as it needs to be.

I would say though, that a decent set of heads would be more important to a CF blower car, than in a turbo car.
A turbocharged motor will have the ability to make power regardless of what heads are fitted, due to the simple ability to increase boost pressure.

Obviously good heads will help, but a CF blown car should realise more benefit compared to a stock head.

Some light reading for those who don't use the search feature...

BTW, the Dart heads only have a .500" deck.

I dont think I sd go with ARE I was refering him to pete at cnc heads. I know that ARE has a bad rep the only thing of theirs Im running is their heads and I havent had a minutes trouble, Its gonna make around 700rw on 15 psi. That may be low numbers to everyone else but sounds ok to me comparing to other cars! With petes heads and cam and some good headers u'll make around 640 rwhp and 615rwtq on 11psi for about 1850.00! U wont be dissapointed I promise!

What kind of power u make man? Im curious what the difference is between ours with ur more cubes and AFRs and ls2 intake. That intake is supposed to be 30rwhp over an ls6 and an lsx on a blower app! I know Im straying from the subject a little but just curious.

We haven't seen 30 rwhp HP on a blower car with the LS2 intake. Where are you getting this info from?

Theyve tested that the LS2 intake sucked compared to an LS6 intake so why would it all of a sudden be better for a boosted application.

It's all part of the mix, but generally going to a higher flowing intake makes sense if the heads also flow really well. I'm going from a LS6 intake/tb setup to an Edelbrock single plane and a NW 90mm tb.
