whats a "good deal" on a powerdyne? u can generally pick up a full kit for about $1500 on the board... I would say your better off saving up for a procharger / vortech supercharger kit.

I would go for the STS. Easy to install, no parasitic loss, no belt slipping, sounds better(my opinion)

Between these two, it's the lesser of two evils.

Seriously, STS over Powerdyne BY FAR.

No comparison. Youll have to fiddle with belts just to make over 400rwhp with the powerdyne. STS sounds great and installs just about as easy. Plus its got more room to grow. Goodluck squeezing any more than 425hp out of a powerdyne. You may as well go cheap heads and a decent cam for $1500. It would probly be cheaper anyways since patriot has a few packages under that price thatll deliver around that kind of hp. IMO dont go powerdyne no matter what.

Default STS VS Powerdyne

Hey what's up. I actaully had the experince to compare both types of force induction. I was going to buy a 95 formula with a powerdyne supercharger, gear and headers other then that it the car was stock. The powerdyne was set a 6# when I took the car for a rough test drive. I thought it was pretty quick. But I decided to buy my uncles 94 camaro z28 which was all stock and allot $$$$$$$ cheaper. I recently bought that STS system over the past summer for my 94 z28 lt1. Stock engine, gear and headers set at #5 the car feels 10 times faster then the powerdyne. No comparison. STS kit just pulls and pulls. I just wish I had the ls1 engine. They seem to get allot more power with these kits over the lt1.
