Default Twin Turbo LS1 in 6's?

My bro just called and said at the Pro Stock Superbowl this weekend here in H-Town there was a twin turbo LS1 from Temple, Texas in the 6's. Have you guys heard about this car? He said it ran like 6.78@215ish in the Pro Mod class.

Not from Temple Texas, no, it was not Moran's car. I have not heard about it on the boards, and I'm not saying it doesnt exist...but I would bet its not an LSx car, just the body.

Ok, yeah, we get that there is a boosted list...you probably don't have to bring it up in this situation.

I'm sure someone (like Todd) from MI can confirm, but I am betting that Kurt did not take Moran's car (and Moran) to run a 6 in some even in Houston. Now, it could be some other white f-body, or another 6-second LSx, but I surely doubt it.

I'm wondering if he is talking about the W2W/Casper car, which is a twin turbo lsx based engine in a white fbody.

Casper was a one time deal that W2W put together just to run a 6 before anyone else(mainly Hardcore). The car is not even together anymore and the engine itself is already in another car(Whitey's I believe, he works at w2w).

I'll try and find out more info if I can. They don't have any event pics posted yet....

I'm very familiar with Casper and as already stated it wasn't that car. The announcer said the car was from Temple which is a city close to Killeen, Texas.

Yeah, Casper is sitting out in the shop sans motor. The motor is going into Whitey's Camaro very soon. Prolly won't make 6's, but 7's are a sure bet

I wondered if that setup would find its way into the Camaro. I watched them do some testing at TAD with the truck. Very nice.
