Default using the SD-concepts tentioner with the Procharger 8 rib crank pulley?

i already have the ATI superdamper & the Procharger 7.65" 8 rib upgrade supercharger crank pulley .
I know SD-concept provides a 7 1/4 " supercharger 8 rib crank pulley with there auto spring tentioner kit,

I need to know if i can still use my Procharger 7.65" crank pulley with the SD-concepts spring tentioner,

Anyone that has a SD-concepts spring tentioner Please let me know if your still using the procharger crank pulley with it,

Also can someone tell me if the sd-concepts 7 1/4 " crank pulley flush mounts to the ATI superdamper just like the 7.65" Procharger crank pulley does, with no off set or space between them.
thank you very much for your help.

You can use it if you have a tool to help u align the pullies. I had to switch to a 7.25 SDCE crank now because we couldn't align the ATI crank pulley and SDCE tension setup properly. Most likely i will need to go with the 7.65" later on with 3.4" pulley so i can max the blower at 6700 or so when i get the forged 396.

OK so do u know if the SD concepts 7.25 crank pulley mounts like the ATI procharger 8 rib crank pulley , Flush?

if so , then why would anything else have to be alinged?
its just a bigger pulley and the belt should clear everything else.

Yes they mount the same, but there is a slight difference in the same pulley design and how far out or in it mounts to the damper. So you will need to realign the ATI crank pulley by using shims to make it work.

I meant using shims where you need it to make it work. You can use shims on the bracket it self or the SC pulley.

I'm wondering why you would want to go smaller on the crank pulley, from a 7.65" to a 7.25". Is this the only way you can use their spring tensioner? That would drastically reduce the boost level, and to compensate by going to a smaller blower pulley would then reduce the belt wrap on the supercharger, creating another belt slippage problem. Bob

No one is saying you can't go with the ATI 7.65" pulley. You will just need to align it right because SDCE won't support their product if you do have any problems. That is all.

As i said before.... I will go back to the 7.65" when I need to max out the D-1SC. Until then i got their crank pulley to save time and get my car rolling.
