Any pics of Magnuson blowers on F-bodies?
I've seen a guy take a ragged out '99 Z/28 junker and cut the cowl to install the blower. He had the roots painted gloss red to match other engine parts. It was a clean car when he was done.
Has anybody out there done the swap? I'm picturing a polished roots blower on top of my engine. I'm curious to see how much cowl would need to be trimmed.

I do have a video of it running a 7.71 at 95.3 mph on the first track run. I haven't been back at the track since. Imagine a 03 cobra with a kenne bell on it and mine sounds about like that. I haven't dynoed the car either, but it will roast the 315's at 60 mph in third with a 3.42 gear.

Damn! Even if I drop the motor on it's mounts I'[d stil have to seriously hack the stock hood.
I don't mind cutting the metal under the cowl, but the hood has all kind of fiberglass reinforcement, and I'd hate to cut it's manhood. Crap.

this is a nice set up, but those blower get maxed out pretty easy on an fbody. like 550-600 i believe. but thats because you cant stuff a bigger 1 in there unless you really wanna cut stuff up

There's no need to do a lot of hacking, or pay for someone's fab work. We released a complete kit that Magnuson makes exclusively for us. There is a small 3"x11" cut to the lower cowl, and the kit comes with a pre-cut and bent steel patch panel to tack back in place. Depending on what hood you have, you may need to cut a small square out of the underhood bracing, but not enought to loose any strength

Videos on the front page. I have these kits in stock, and they come with everything you need to install and drive!
