Default s/c and cam ?

i have a chance to get a used supercharger for cheap.
i have a 228 cam with a 114 lsa in the motor.
how well would this combo work, im not going to swap cams.

prob better to post this in the internal section or forced induction as well as with a list of what you have done to your car, what boost you will run, what kind it is, ect

A 228 with a 114 lsa should work okay for what you're doing. Bob

What I mean is you won't have any problems with it. The 114 lSA will work just fine for the ProCharger. The camshaft you have may not be the optimum camshaft for forced induction, although you didn't give us much info on it, but you did say that you are not going to change it out, and just wanted to know if it would work.
I'm amazed at how well some camshafts work with forced induction, that aren't what we would first pick out to be used.
I'd shoot for 8 psi of boost, and get a good tune keeping the air/fuel ratio at wide open throttle at 11.2 to 11.5/1. Use at least 42 lb injectors, and a good flowing fuel pump. Bob
