True Duals
Whts up? I have a question about a tru dual setup. I m going with a GMRSpeed single turbo setup and was wondering if i could run a TSP true dual setup dumped off in front of the axle. Im running pacestter long tubes with their y-pipe and an SLP loudmouth dump. I would like to run a true dual setup, is this possible? Thanks for the help in advance.

Well, I'm pretty new to the FI forum, but true duals are made to come off the headers than X and dump before the axel. Now the problem is your running a single turbo setup, so there would only be one downpipe(I'm not to familier with the GMR kit), so reall there is no way to run true duals with a single turbo setup, but if you had a twin setup then I think you might be able to use them. Hopefully someone that knows more about the GMR kit can chime in, good luck with that setup...

ya thats what I thought but I wasnt totally sure. I suppose instead of running a true dual setup I could run some type of catback system to run out the rear like A Loudmouth, borla, or corsa, right?

I had an SLP loudmouth catback, but I took it apart and I have one like 6" pipe connected to the resonator then to a turndown right before the rear axle, but I would like to run a catback system something with quad tips.

I'm new to the FI area too, but it definitely isn't possible to have a "true dual" system from a single turbo setup. You could however have a "dual" exhaust setup though (have a single pipe split into two). Just an idea...

The SLP loudmouth is the best setup to go with as the turbo acts as a muffler so you do not have to worry about the exhaust note sounding raspy as is the complaint of some loudmouth owners. If you ran the twin setup you can run true duals but really is pointless,a good catback will get the job done just fine.
FYI when we hooked up our single kit to the cars previously installed flowmaster system it sounded like a V6 car with a crappy exhaust, then we opened the cutout, sounded 100 times better, so if you can get away without running a muffler like on a loudmouth I highly reccomend it.

I know if I could have the twin setup I would take it in a second but, its over $2,000 more. That $2,000 is what could get me LQ9 heads and a turbo cam. I dont know if the twins are worth it. Are they that much better?
