Its nice to have control of the colling without having to run the engine though. That's an option I would want but everyone is different.

well got my fan working. its a 16in permacool. wired it into the stock fan wires. kicks on at a bout 190 and from there you can just watch the temp drop. only thing left is to get the exaust hooked up and tuning. got a little idle problem not too sure what thats about but figure its just in the tune. we will see. pics up shortly

Congrats. The header on the driver's side is nowhere near the steering linkage is it?

yeah one 16incher. thats what kp uses. now granted he doesnt do a lot of street driving but i willl see how it does. it cooled it down good while idling. isnt that what comes with the procharger setups? but you see a lot of street rods running around on just one electric fan so i figured i would try it. its for sale if it doesnt work...

I'm sure that fan will work great. I'm just used to living in traffic with the AC on all the time, so I have a 15 inch puller and a 12 inch pusher.

That fan looks badass though.

should work. i would imaging. if not 2 12inchers may do it. but like he said its nearly 3000cfm and as a pusher its a little less. i will keep it updated on how it runs. while idling it did great. temps dropped fast. so i imagine it should work good

took it out last night and man it feels good. it was tuned for 9 psi last time out so i got on it a little last night. held 5 psi and never creeped or fell down. only thing is why just 5 psi? it has a 7lb spring in it. could the extra fuel from my old tune be affecting it? i dunno. good thing is: no coolant in the enging compartment and the dipstick stayed down. pics of the car will be up later

Daniel, just wait to get it on the dyno before getting on it. It's not worth it.

KAOS..... The problems that you MIGHT be occuring is the location of your maf? Or are you even using your MAF still? I had the same problems, i had too much air turbulence right before a big 90* bend like that. Hope that helps. My tuner just Deleted the MAF and 02's and now i run on like a speed density setup ALMOST. Just check your maf, maybe put it in the middle of that long stretch. Who is your tuner by chance?

Hope this helps
Dan

tuner is cannibals brother. last tune was for 10psi so i dont think 5 will hurt anything but i am not going to get on it any more. but you think the maf could be killing boost? or just adding a lot of fuel? and i cant wait till the dyno. all i need is a filter and im set.

no!! nothing like that. it hasnt missed a beat. nothing out of the ordinary. it has a miss at idle but who knows with these crappy msd wires. but nothing has seemed funny with the car. no strange noises i didnt find or anything like that. i am done getting on it and before i go to the dyno im going to check the plugs and make sure all the wires are on good. i dont really know what else to do. like i said find a filter and im ready to go.
