Default Started my build.

Well I finally got my motor. Took a long time to get it due to the shop I used is in high demand. But it was well worth it. These pics I took are from the other day. I now have the heads on it and the oil pan etc done. Ill try today to get the other pics off the camera. But it broke that night and I have to send it off to HP to be repaired. Block is a 04 LS6,ross pistons, speed pro hell fire rings, eagle rods, arp on the mains and stock crank etc. Should have the blower and everything mounted up this coming sunday. Heres some pics. The head studs are wrong and I have sold them and put the right ones on.

I work for a performance shop on my days off. Which is working on a website to be a sponsor here So I got the pistons and rods used for a good price. Less than 1k on them. But I had them checked. This is the reason I had to go with a 6.0l heads. And got them cleaned up a bit. Bought them from A_DEE_O and they flowed 290 @ .600 So I was happy with that.
Piston specs from Ross. But There like -2cc to me.
PART # BORE STROKE ROD LENGTH C.R. C.H. NET CC PIN
99839 3.905 3.622 6.125 10.700 1.299 -4.000 0.927

Kyle thats would be great. Ill be happy with a 10 sec pass. Man I really want a turbo kit next year.

T-Trim with a 2.85 pulley should be fun, that is the pulley I have been running with the YSi-Trim.

Default Progress

Lost my pics of us building the motor. But here are the recent pics. Ill have it done soon Have a good amount of work to do but it will be well worth it. The undercarriage needs to be cleaned. And I have some sanding and painting to do but all in all Im happy. Not bad for 4 days of work pretty much with my buddie Danny in the day time and Matt at night when they can. All thats really left is the nasty performance fuel system, vortech aftercooler, batt relocation, and alot of other lose ends. But it will get there. Im a happy camper
