Safe boost level stock LS1
What is a realistic boost level that is safe with the following: 42#injectors, racetronix plug and play, FMIC, throttle body coolant bypass, 160 thermostat, STS 67. Going to run it around 11.2 to 1 A/F. Car is a 2001 SS with a M6. I just want a good street machine, with a good dyno tune, conservative all around, not into rebuilding engine at this time. Have the blue and green wastegate springs (Tial wastegate) and I'd like to go more than the 5psi spring (red). Had the injectors flowed and at 58psi they all are pretty close to 47 psi, put the richest one in #7 hole.
Thanks

some people run just under 10psi and have no problems, you should be fine running about 8-10 since you have a fuel system up to the task. As long as you have a very good tune
all depends on how you drive and how long you want it to last, do the 5psi dyno tuned and you can still flog it every damn day, you start upping the boost it will be fine but not for as long running lower boost, sounds like you allready decided though....
More boost=more stress.
We run 8-10lbs with intercoolers and a good tune. On my personal Vette I ran 14lbs on the stock motor but didn't drive it hard alot on the street.Car has 10k miles on it.

10 is a bit high, depending on the weather and octane. 8.5-9 I've run for 4 years, and about 30K miles.
now its got a tick, think a wrist pin, the pistons are fine. swapped to lq9 heads a year ago, and was hoping it was a lifter.
new motor is in the works.
